The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) supports projects of enterprises that have an (additional) development benefit. This financial support is known as Public Private Partnership Projects. PPP-Projects describe a new model for development cooperation. Within the frameworks of PPP-Project, German and Western European enterprises can apply for a support of their projects in developing countries.
The planned projects must contribute to the development of the partner country and be profit-oriented.
